It all started one Christmas. In my family there is a group of wonderful Louisiana Girls that celebrate the season giving each other the coveted “girl gift”. This year as I was searching for the perfect gift, it occurred to me that we already had the best gift of all…each other.

It got me to thinking about the bonds we form with each other in life. The bond of sisterhood has always been understood and celebrated by women everywhere. There is a unique sisterhood among southern women and an even stronger bond among Louisiana Girl Sisters. Louisiana Girls carry their home in their heart wherever they may travel. So Louisiana Girl was created to celebrate the spirit alive in the women and girls lucky enough to be born in or adopted by Louisiana.
